Closets has been an influential
and innovative pioneer throughout the closet industry. And today,
we remain the most highly regarded organizational specialist…
both in Orange County where the company was founded, and throughout
all other parts of Southern California as well.
Established in Costa Mesa in
1981, Custom Closets
is still headquartered from this
original location. Our initial closet organizer concept was forged
out of a small two-man cabinet shop of less than 500 sq.ft. We
have since grown and expanded into two adjacent facilities within
the same business park, now bustling in more than 5000 sq.ft.

continues to be owned and operated
by our originating founder, who — as a perfectionist with
a keen eye for the smallest detail — closely monitors all
facets of our day-to-day operations.
Focused on Closet
Organizers alone for our initial
decade of service, Custom
Closets quickly perfected a unique
closet product that still shines as the class of our industry.
As a natural add-on, Wardrobe
Doors were first added to our service
in 1987, and shortly thereafter, the demand for Garage
Cabinetry began to explode. Along
the way, Custom Closets
— responding to consumer requests
— developed and introduced such popular amenities like Glass
Doors, Jewelry
Inserts, and formal Laundry
Hampers.
Today, as a result of our flexible
capabilities, our vast resources, our quality workmanship, and
the demanding needs of our valued clientele, Custom
Closets product line has fully matured
to a point where we provide organizational solutions for nearly
every corner of your home.
While many core elements of
our initial product remain intact, and still today (nearly two
decades later) those same elements continue to be what set Custom
Closets apart from all the others…
the subtle changes we have made have always been implemented —
not to cut costs — but to make Custom
Closets even better: Better in our
overall quality; Better in terms of lasting durability; and Better
in our aesthetic fit and finish.
